About the role The core function of the Business Development team is to build internal relationships, work with our partners and our people as they generate pipeline and improve the firm’s effectiveness at winning and retaining profitable client engagements and taking new services to market. Working as part of the Business Development team, this role supports the execution of the Firm’s key go to market priorities for our priority One Firm sector and strategic account teams. The role is a new role, and you’ll be working alongside a wide range of partners, sector, and client teams. Your day-to-day could include: Coordinate and support business development activities, including meeting scheduling, agenda management, and stakeholder engagement. Maintain and enhance Salesforce data quality by updating contacts, opportunities, activities, and pipeline information. Prepare and manage client events and thought leadership mailing lists to support marketing and engagement initiatives. Develop sector and account performance dashboards, insights, and reports in collaboration with business development and account teams. Monitor revenue reporting, identify data issues, and troubleshoot discrepancies across business units. Provide administrative, reporting, and analytical support to drive effective go-to-market activities, client pursuits, and sector initiatives. Skills you will bring or develop in this role 3+ years’ Administration/Analyst support experience. Good working knowledge and experience with Salesforce and PowerBI (Alteryx a bonus). Knowledge and experience with e‑marketing tools and Microsoft tools. Strong attention to detail and process orientation. Collaborative team player – able to build successful relationships in a multidisciplinary sales and marketing communications team. Strong people skills with the ability to quickly build trust, credibility and rapport with a variety of stakeholders. Excellent project management and organisational skills – comfortable juggling multiple competing deadlines and working in a fast‑paced and varied environment. Ability to stay focused on the task at hand. Can follow through a task to completion. Self‑starter – proactive when dealing with problems and confident to suggest and execute ideas for improvement.
