Rebates Assistant (Part-Time)

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organised Rebates Assistant to join our Finance team at Farmers. This part‑time role is responsible for supporting the administration and processing of supplier rebates, ensuring accurate reporting, and reconciliations. Working closely with Merchandise, Finance, and supplier partners, you will play an important role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the smooth operation of rebate processes across the business. This role offers flexibility, with hours able to be discussed to suit the successful candidate and business needs. Key Responsibilities Process and maintain supplier rebate agreements and records Assist with rebate calculations, accruals, and reconciliations Ensure rebate claims are accurate and submitted within agreed timelines Investigate and resolve discrepancies relating to supplier rebates Support monthly reporting and financial analysis Maintain accurate documentation and filing systems Liaise with internal stakeholders and suppliers regarding rebate queries Assist with process improvements and system updates where required Provide general administrative support to the Finance team Skills & Experience Previous administration, accounts, or finance support experience preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good numerical and analytical skills Strong organisational and time management skills Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders A proactive attitude and willingness to learn Experience working in a retail or large corporate environment is advantageous What We Offer At Farmers, we offer a supportive team environment, opportunities for growth, and the chance to work for one of New Zealand’s most well-known retail brands.
