Security Resilience Coordinator – Wellington, NewZealand About the role The Security and Organisational Resilience Division requires a coordinator to deliver first‑line security and resilience services across NewZealand and overseas. The role is a temporary assignment until 30June2027. Key responsibilities Coordinate the Ministry’s clearance processes and access card processes Manage the security or resilience mailbox, ensuring timely and appropriate responses Coordinate reporting, risk assessments and key operational documents Support the set‑up of the Emergency Coordination Centre and handle logistics in the early stages of a crisis Assist with the maintenance of key security systems and practices in NewZealand Required qualifications Previous experience as a coordinator or administrator managing a range of interconnected activities Well‑developed planning and organisational skills Strong relationship management skills Demonstrated integrity, discretion and an ethical approach Passionate about helping people stay safe with an interest in security, continuity and risk management Sound understanding of tikanga and TeTiriti oWaitangi principles Salary and benefits Fixed remuneration range: $66,239 – $84,639 annual. Midpoint: $73,598. The total package includes a 3.5% KiwiSaver employer contribution. The position is full‑time, on‑site in Wellington.
