Our client is on the lookout for an experienced and passionate Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Christchurch. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-value commercial projects, alongside a committed and supportive Project Manager. You will be hands on with cost management and play a vital role in keeping projects on task – on budget, on time and with clear communication across the board. Your main duties will include: Managing project costs and financial controls Preparing and maintaining internal budgets Forecasting and financial reporting Procuring and managing subtrade packages and tenders Assessing progress claims and handling variations Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Working closely with the Project Team to tackle challenges and spot opportunities About You You are someone who thrives on seeing a project through from start to finish. You communicate clearly, understand the ins and outs of construction and know the importance of good team work.
