Senior Social Media Manager

Overview McCann NZ is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Senior Social Media Manager to join our fast-paced Group Social Team. Our Social Media Managers are innovators, early adopters and digital natives who live online. Living and breathing social media, they are all over the latest emerging trends on social and beyond. You will be a master at juggling multiple brands and always on content, planning and implementation across integrated and social campaigns. Responsibilities Being the key client contact for Group Social clients and key contact for the Account Management team on relevant projects. Social lead of always-on social media clients as well as allocated social campaigns, taking full ownership from brief to delivery and reporting Dispatching social content and creative assets to media agencies, clients, and stakeholders Identify social content trends, creative reactive organic content and manage social campaigns Develop and share end of campaign reports and social media performance with the team and clients Act as a trusted advisor internally and externally pushing for the best work possible at all times What will you bring? You’ll bring at least 4 years of experience working in a social/digital environment. With proven success managing social channels, creating social strategies that support business objectives and a solid grasp on paid social planning/social business manager platform, you’ll have a passion for the power of social to reach and engage humans beyond a like. We’re looking for exceptional project management and organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple project complex campaigns simultaneously and to excel under pressure. You’ll be all over TikTok trends and know the best way to drive views on short form vertical video. You will have solid experience in planning always on and/or campaigns across a range of social platforms alongside collaborating with creatives and production teams to create clever social.
