Company Sime Darby Motor Group (NZ) Ltd Role Overview We’re looking for a D365 Finance & Operations Business Analyst to join our Digital Technology Team in Christchurch and play a key role in the Drive:365 Programme — migrating our legacy DMS into Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations. Duration: 18‑month fixed term contract, full‑time (40 hours per week), Monday to Friday. Christchurch based. Responsibilities Act as the bridge between business and technology, shaping how future systems work. Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyse and document requirements. Support the migration from legacy DMS (including Autoline) to D365 F&O. Facilitate workshops and translate business needs into clear, actionable solutions. Perform process mapping, gap analysis, and solution design. Support system testing, validation, and documentation. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain and operations. Provide Tier 2–3 support for D365 F&O where required. Work closely with project teams to ensure successful delivery of the Drive:365 roadmap. Qualifications Experience or exposure to business process mapping and requirements gathering. Strong communication skills; ability to engage both technical and non‑technical audiences. Solid analytical thinking and problem‑solving capability. Ability to build relationships and work closely with business stakeholders. Knowledge of BABOK principles or business analysis frameworks. Background in ERP, CRM, or enterprise systems. Understanding of supply chain or distribution environments. Desirable Experience Experience with D365 Finance & Operations. Exposure to Autoline or other DMS platforms. Experience with Power BI, SQL, or data analysis tools. Familiarity with testing, documentation, and process improvement.
