Permanent part‑time (20 hours per week, 0.5 FTE) opportunity at Te Toka Tumai Provide clerical support to ward staff as well as patients, whānau and caregivers. About the Role General Medicine at Te Toka Tumai, part of the Adult Medical Directorate, is in search of an experienced administrator to join our team as a Ward Clerk. A supportive and dynamic team with numerous opportunities for the ideal candidate to upskill and grow. This role requires someone who wants to work 16 hours per week. This is a permanent role. Responsibilities As a ward clerk you will: Provide clerical support to one of the General Medicine wards. Be the first point of contact for visitors and internal clients to the service and provide a high‑quality customer‑focused approach through face to face and telephone contact. Perform various administrative tasks associated with the smooth operation of the clerical aspects of the service; including data entry of patient information into the relevant IS systems and administration of clinical records and associated documentation. For further details, please refer to the position description here. About you Have at least 2 years of admin/reception experience (experience in the health sector is beneficial). Be proficient in computer skills and MS Office. Have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
