About the Role This role will see you supporting our new business team in the preparation of tenders and proposals. This role is at the core of the team and helps all elements of the process function efficiently. The role has great variety from developing and managing tender correspondence, maintaining records and filing as well as ensuring the tender programme is coordinated. Work with the new business team to plan/manage tender opportunities Assisting with the preparation of tender submissions including expressions of interest, registrations of interest, and tenders within specified deadlines Managing and compile packages for the supply chain, including correspondence management and document control Manage all incoming/outgoing client documents Document management in Prospect Manager and SharePoint What you’ll bring to the role We’re looking for a self-starter, who can work autonomously, but as importantly be a team player and ultimately be the glue that holds the new business team together in a timely and effective manner. Previous administrative experience, ideally in supporting engineering and / or construction bid teams is beneficial Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven research or document compilation skills and preferably some experience writing proposals or briefs Ability to demonstrate the ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment Strategic thinking, planning and coordinating ability Exceptional organisational skills Able to effectively negotiate and influence at all levels About Us Brian Perry Civil are specialists in ground engineering and civil construction, delivering some of the most complex and technically challenging projects.
