Job Description
Location: Linton Camp, Palmerston North 4820, New Zealand. Position: Facility Technician, Linton Military Camp. Citycare Property will partner with the New Zealand Defence Force Facilities Management Services to provide essential facilities, maintenance, and infrastructure services across camps and bases throughout Aotearoa. Join us in the role of Facility Technician, Linton Military Camp to support the environments that enable NZDF personnel to focus on protecting and serving New Zealand communities. Responsibilities and qualifications: Carrying out a wide range of general building maintenance and handyperson tasks across NZDF facilities. Completing all work to a high standard of workmanship in accordance with best practice, manufacturer instructions, and job requirements. Working cooperatively with other team members to support service delivery. Establishing strong and positive working relationships with staff and managers. Complying with all contract requirements and Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental procedures. Valid Full Drivers Licence. Practical experience as a Contractor and general Handyperson experience for a minimum of 2 years. Proven Health & Safety training and experience. Absolute alignment with Citycare Property values. The legal right to work in Aotearoa, ability to pass a drug and alcohol test and willingness to consent to a Criminal Record Check. Ability to meet NZDF specific security requirements.
