Physiotherapist – Clinical Lead Inpatients (Acute) We are seeking a proficient physiotherapist to work as a Clinical Lead in our Acute Inpatient team. This full‑time position requires rostered weekend and on‑call work and includes maintaining a patient caseload. Responsibilities Coordinate the acute physiotherapy inpatient team. Educate and mentor staff. Roster and perform staff performance appraisals. Ensure staff competencies and assist the Professional Lead. Work closely with Physio Clinical Leads of Rehab and Musculoskeletal Outpatients, the Physiotherapy Professional Lead, and the Occupational Therapy Inpatient Lead as well as ward MDTs. Qualifications & Experience Current NZ Physiotherapy Annual Practising Certificate. Valid work visa for New Zealand. At least five years’ experience in an inpatient hospital setting, including ICU. Strong background in cardiorespiratory and inpatient physiotherapy. Passion for physiotherapy and a desire to continue learning. Problem‑solving approach to clinical care. Excellent cultural knowledge & practice. Excellent communication skills. Desire to progress to a fixed role with opportunity to develop skills while managing a complex caseload.
