Prepared Produce Assistants (Night shift) When you join the Service Foods team, it is more than just taking a new job! This is a full‑time permanent position based in Cumnor Terrace, Woolston. Key facts: five days per week on a rotational roster. Days are Sunday to Friday (six days a week) with an eight‑hour shift excluding meal breaks. Working hours are 7:30 pm to 3:30/4:00 am. Responsibilities Cleaning, washing and processing vegetables Grading, cutting, dicing and peeling vegetables Weighing, measuring and mixing vegetables Operating machines to peel, core, slice, dice fruit and vegetables Labelling packed, prepared produce Frequent use of processing machines Qualifications Previous experience in a similar role is essential Willingness to work on your feet and flexibility Physically fit and able to lift up to 25 kg Can work in a fast‑paced environment Strong eye for presentation and a “can do” attitude Intermediate reading, writing and arithmetic skills Good health, fitness, time management and communication skills Knowledge and experience in the food industry is beneficial Applicants must have NZ citizenship, residency or a valid work visa How to Apply We will contact shortlisted candidates via phone or email.
