New Parent Group Coordinator - Botany

Overview As a coordinator for our Plunket new parent group, you will provide a welcoming environment and facilitate group sessions. Duties include tracking attendance, completing a health and safety checklist for each session, preparing the space, hosting sessions, and anticipating the needs of the participants to offer help where needed. Responsibilities Provide a welcoming, warm, and safe environment for new parents. Facilitate group sessions, encouraging participation and connection. Track attendance for each session. Complete a health and safety checklist for each session. Prepare the session space and host the sessions. Anticipate and address the needs of the group, offering support and resources. Time Commitment Friday afternoons from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm (1.5 hours per week). Qualifications Excellent and clear communication skills. Warm and welcoming personality. Comfortable working with multiple ethnicities. Good listening skills. Ability to anticipate needs intuitively.
