Importantly, we genuinely care about the wellbeing of our people. The Role This is an exciting opportunity for experienced registered nurses who are ready for a new challenge. Our fertility nurses are experts at juggling priorities, and happy to work with our patients both in person and on the phone and via email. This role is a mix of patient-facing and computer work, and with a rotating task roster, no day is ever the same! Our nurses play an important role in providing compassionate and comprehensive care to our patients. Working closely with embryologists, doctors, counsellors, and administrative staff, our nurses ensure a seamless experience for patients throughout their treatment journey. This is a full-time role, 40 hours per week with a share of the weekend and public holiday roster in our Remuera clinic. Training will be provided. Key Responsibilities Caring for patients from admission through their procedure and recovery to discharge, including theatre support. Dispensing and administering medications. Assisting with ultrasound scanning. Working closely with the doctors to prepare treatment plans. Preparing patients throughout their journey with education about their treatment and processes. Maintaining regular communication in person, over the phone, and via our messenger system. Ideal candidate, skills and experience A keen interest and ability to expand their skill set in our specialised environment. Someone who is energetic, compassionate and organised. Has a professional manner with strong interpersonal skills to engage positively with all stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to be proactive and naturally take initiative. Demonstrated ability to multi-task whilst providing quality service. Able to self‑lead, and also able to take direction. Comfortable and curious to learn and use new computer software. Experience in women's health or theatre/ED or fertility nursing is an advantage, but not compulsory. Requirements Must hold current NZ registration with the Nursing Council of NZ. Must have NZ experience in an acute or hospital setting.
