Job Description

Consultant/Account Manager As an Account Manager within the Canstaff Group, you will support clients and applicants to gain and sustain meaningful employment. You will provide coaching, training, and practical assistance in a person‑centred, culturally responsive environment, helping participants identify career goals, overcome barriers, and build work‑readiness skills. Responsibilities Own a territory, build lasting relationships with customers and prospects, and represent one of New Zealand’s most trusted infrastructure brands. Conduct in‑depth interviews, vet applications, and present job offers. Prepare participants to enter the workforce, providing pre‑employment skills and training. Guide and support participants to set goals and career plans. Manage roster assignments and data for employees and shifts. Analyze territory potential, run structured call cycles, and stay ahead of market conditions and competitor activity. Implement a call plan that maximizes revenue and effectiveness, achieving targets strategically. Manage pipeline, identify projects early, maintain CRM, and pursue coordinated approaches to hit agreed strike rates. Qualifications Track record of hitting targets and clear understanding of what drives success. Valuation of customer value over price and ability to create compelling long‑term propositions. Collaborative, reliable, and respectful, sharing knowledge openly in a supportive team culture. Ideal Experience 1–2 years in a service or sales‑focused role (recruitment exposure is an added bonus). Proven track record in achieving KPIs and exceeding sales targets. Resilience and determination to overcome objections and stay motivated. Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a fast‑paced environment. Strong work ethics, driven by passion and a results‑focused mindset.
