Boilermaker (fixed and mobile) Responsibilities Perform fabrication, welding, and repair work on mining and processing equipment. Conduct planned and breakdown maintenance on fixed and mobile plant infrastructure. Inspect, diagnose, and repair structural components and mechanical systems. Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. Fabricate and install steel structures, piping, chutes, guards, handrails, and other site infrastructure. Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Participate in shutdowns and major maintenance activities. Identify and report equipment defects and improvement opportunities. Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation. Contribute to a positive team environment and strong safety culture. About You Trade qualification as a Boilermaker/Welder or equivalent. Demonstrated experience working in mining, heavy industry, construction, or processing environments. Strong welding and fabrication skills across a variety of materials and applications. Experience with fixed and mobile plant equipment such as crushers, conveyors, tanks, chutes, and processing infrastructure. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans. Strong commitment to workplace health, safety, and environmental standards. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
