Registered Nurse – Community Mental Health and Addictions – Hawke's Bay Fallen Soldiers Hospital About the Role We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our integrated Adult Community Mental Health and Addiction service. If you are a Registered Nurse, with at least one year's experience in Mental Health and Addictions and enjoy working in a multi‑disciplinary team environment, we would like to hear from you. You will play a vital role in the delivery of mental health care, to people who are most severely affected by mental illness and/or addiction in our Hastings community. Responsibilities Deliver evidence‑based mental health care, facilitate recovery and resilience skills, engage patients and whānau in community activities, and advocate for patients' wellbeing. Key Qualities & Requirements Current New Zealand Nursing Registration Completed postgraduate certificate in Mental Health Full clean driver’s licence Effective communicator, capable of facilitating recovery and resilience skills Highly motivated to make a difference and provide best practice nursing skills and knowledge Supportive and engages people in community activities to promote recovery Advocates for patients and whānau and collaborates with clients, whānau and staff Demonstrates cultural awareness and incorporates it into practice Shows a can‑do attitude and a willingness to contribute to ongoing service development About the Team, Service and Location Our team consists of Registered Nurses, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Community Support Workers and an Administrative team, all passionate about supporting our community living with mental health and addiction issues. We work together to enhance recovery for people with conditions such as psychotic disorders, severe personality disorders, severe anxiety disorders, major depression, alcohol and substance abuse issues, and co‑existing conditions. #J-18808-Ljbffr
