Technician

We’re seeking an Automotive Technician to join our team in Christchurch. What you’ll do Carry out in depth diagnoses on a range of vehicle and system faults using OEM methods, tooling and schematic’s, document and report. Perform warranty and routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections. Collaborate with Service Advisors and Workshop Controllers for outside-of-normal servicing requirements. Utilize advanced diagnostic tools to solve complex issues and provide high-quality solutions. Ensure all work aligns with manufacturer repair guidelines and Inchcape standards. Conduct quality checks, road testing, and complete vehicle servicing logbooks accurately. About you Minimum of 2 years' post-apprenticeship experience in a fast-paced workshop with strong diagnostic capability. Current Motor Mechanic Trade Certificate (WOF authority is required or willing to obtain one). A proactive problem solver with a strong focus on diagnosing and resolving complex issues.
