About the Role Provide advanced specialist assessment and management for patients undergoing structural heart interventions. Act as a primary contact for patients and families by offering clinical advice, education, and psychological support throughout the care pathway. Coordinate the full patient journey—including referrals, pre‑procedure workup, MDT preparation, consent support, and post‑procedure follow‑up. Collaborate with cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, imaging teams, anaesthetics, and the wider MDT to support procedural planning. Actively participate in audit, service evaluation, quality improvement, data collection, and research. Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and education for junior staff and students, contributing to the development of evidence‑based practice and innovation within structural heart disease management. About You Minimum of 5 years practice in Cardiology nursing. Advanced communication techniques such as conflict resolution, diffusion and mediation skills. Excellent organisational and time management skills. A professional can‑do attitude in line with our values. Hold or be working towards a relevant post graduate qualification.
