The Role – What You’ll Do You will play a critical role in analyzing player behavior, balancing the in-game economy, and providing data‑driven insights that guide the future direction of our games. Collaborating closely with Game Design and LiveOps teams, you will translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive long‑term success. You will lead initiatives to optimize game economy features and strengthen experimentation through rigorous experimental design, A/B testing, and statistical modeling. What You Bring – Key Skills & Traits Essential Bachelor's degree or higher in Data Science, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in data analyst roles within the gaming industry or product analytics. Proficiency in SQL and statistical programming languages like R or Python. A deep understanding of data science workflows, experimental design, and core statistical methodologies. Valid legal rights to work in New Zealand, such as a Work Visa, Residency, or NZ/Australian Citizenship. Desirable Familiarity with data engineering and data visualization tools like Power BI. A solid understanding of and strong passion for free‑to‑play game business models. A proven track record of leading impactful investigations in game or product analytics.
