Role Warehouse Management Officer (Design & Production Team, Ministry of Education) Responsibilities Assisting with the delivery of the Ministry's logistics solutions - receipting, warehousing, order fulfilment and distribution Coordinating the systems, processes and supplier relationships that support those solutions Working across the Ministry, assisting business units and project teams with procurement and delivery requirements Collaborating with print production, design and publishing colleagues to provide services and advice to ensure the cost-effective delivery of printed resources Salary Salary range: $74,815 - $90,347 per annum + KiwiSaver. Qualifications and Experience We're looking for a Warehouse Management Officer who has a solid background in the logistics industry to join our busy team. To be successful in this role you will need to know how to help coordinate complex logistics projects, including project scoping and planning, stakeholder engagement for quality, and timely and cost-effective delivery. You also need proven soft skills to develop relationships and work collaboratively within your own team, and with key internal and external stakeholders. Core Experience Experience in the logistics industry in the context of supplying to a large and complex network of suppliers and locations Understanding of best-practice processes for receipting, warehousing, collating and distributing inventory Experience in coordinating and delivering complex project outcomes to deadlines, and strong organisational skills Understanding of graphic design and print production processes and timelines Knowledge of the New Zealand publishing standards and requirements is desirable Willingness to adhere to the Public Service Standards of Integrity and Conduct About our group and team The Design and Production Team is part of the Communications, Engagements and Ministerials within Te Pou Rangatōpū | Corporate. We oversee the Ministry's visual identity management, graphic design, print production, warehousing and logistics needs. We work across the Ministry and with external suppliers on all kinds of projects - from corporate reporting documents, policy or regulatory guidance for the education sector, marketing collateral and events, and classroom resources for students across New Zealand. It is our role to use our design, print and logistics expertise to realise our clients' goals - transforming their content into engaging end products that equip the sector, providers and communities with supports and resources to help children and young people reach their full potential.
