Elgas Limited Delivery Driver Location: Christchurch, New Zealand Job Reference: req29452 Job Overview We’ re looking for a hardworking, dependable driver to join our busy team. You’ll need Class 2 driving experience and a clean criminal history. Responsibilities Your working time will be Monday to Friday starting around 06:30am, finishing no later than 05:00pm Occasional Saturdays are required Role involves delivering and filling LPG gas cylinders to homes and businesses across the region You’ll be interacting with customers face-to-face, answering questions or helping them out As you’ll be handling dangerous goods, attention to detail with a strong commitment to health and safety is super important Qualifications Clean Class 2 licence with at least two years driving experience (in Class 2) Can drive manual transmission and you have previous experience delivering goods Be physically fit, and able to lift heavy items when doing deliveries Dangerous Goods licence and LPG filling experience (or be willing to undergo training) Flexible and adaptable with a strong focus on customer service Have good knowledge of the region You are able to use handheld computer delivery equipment A proactive approach and responsibility towards Health and Safety Pass background checks such as criminal & ACC history, medical and drug & alcohol screening Be a team player with a can‑do attitude and the flexibility to meet the demands of the operations Benefits Opportunity for career advancement opportunities with BOC and the global Linde Group Diverse employment opportunities for outstanding team players Equal Opportunity Statement Any designations used of course apply to persons of all genders. #J-18808-Ljbffr
