Gastroenterologist – Taranaki Base Hospital. Fulltime 1.0 FTE, temporary 12 months with possibility of extension. Immediate start. About the Role We are seeking a consultant in General Medicine to provide high-quality, patient-centred care in our busy but supportive hospital setting. We are specifically looking for someone with a Gastroenterology focus, or a Gastroenterologist who is open to doing partial General Medicine. Responsibilities Provide acute and inpatient care. Conduct outpatient clinics. Participate in the general medicine on‑call roster. Deliver high‑quality patient‑centred care. Qualifications Vocationally registered (or eligible for registration) with the Medical Council of New Zealand. Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) or equivalent.
