Applications now open for the 2027 forum and close on Sunday 9th August 2026 Join us for the 2027 Rotary National Science and Technology Forum 9th to 23rd January 2027 Welcome to The Rotary National Science and Technology Forum 2027. This highly regarded programme has a 36-vear history of providing high achieving, well-rounded year 12 science, mathematics and technology students with one of the best experiences of their lives. For 14 davs 168 like-minded students will explore tertiary- level science. mathematics and technolog. They will participate in lectures, laboratories and field stations, meeting industry leaders and visiting organisations across a range of sectors. Who can apply? This Forum is designed for year 12 students with a strong interest in Science, Mathematics and Technology. To be selected for a place at The Rotary National Science & Technology Forum, you must: Be a New Zealand citizen OR hold permanent residency in New Zealand. Be a student in year 12 at a New Zealand secondary school aged between 16 years 3 months and 17 years 6 months on 1st January 2027. Intend to return to Year 13 at a New Zealand Secondary School in 2027. Intending to pursue tertiary study in Science, Mathematics and/or Technology at a New Zealand Institution. Wish to pursue a career in these or similar fields If you are currently in year 11 but doing year 12 papers, you will be asked to wait another year to apply.
