Service Person Driver

About the role As the Kennards Hire representative, you support customers with training and development. The Service Person Driver is the critical link between a Kennards Hire branch, our customers and their projects. You’ll be in charge of everything that makes our customers’ job easy: expert advice, pickups, deliveries and ensuring our equipment is ready for hire. Responsibilities Instruct and demonstrate to customers how to safely use our equipment. Drive, pick up and deliver equipment to customer sites, including safely loading and unloading. Provide exceptional customer service in all interactions. Maintain high standard and quality of equipment through regular servicing and minor repairs. Clean branch facilities and maintain equipment as required. Perform equipment check-in and check-out inspections. About you Background in customer service, building & construction, hospitality, retail, landscaping, trade & maintenance, or similar. Valid driver's licence. Availability to work some weekend days on a rotating roster. Physical fitness for lifting and standing for long periods, and ability to pass a drug test. Proactive, keen to learn new skills. Annual awards night, team BBQs and other social events. Salary Breakdown Base salary of $58,500. Profit share up to $4,000 (paid twice a year, variable). Weekend allowance of $2,340 per year (dependent on weekends worked). KiwiSaver available (opt‑in).
