Registered Nurses – Starship Paediatric VIS Starship – NewZealand’s premier children’s hospital is looking for highly motivated, flexible, and enthusiastic Registered Nurses with generalist paediatric skills to work in all clinical areas. Permanent full‑time or part‑time vacancies are available. About the role The role provides the opportunity to become multi‑skilled and increase knowledge by working in a variety of clinical areas. It includes clinical education, coaching and support from competent to expert levels. About the team The Starship paediatric VIS nurses are part of a resource team allocated to areas of Starship Hospital to respond to high demand situations on an as‑needed basis or to fill staffing gaps. These permanent, rostered positions provide great variety and learning through a range of settings around the hospital. About you – responsibilities and qualifications Current practising certificate (APC) from the Nursing Council of NewZealand. Paediatric nursing experience in NewZealand. Strong commitment to quality care and capable of working within a multidisciplinary team. Well‑developed communication and critical‑thinking skills with a commitment to family‑centred care.
