Job Description

Contractor Compliance Coordinator We are seeking an experienced Contractor Compliance Coordinator to support a busy engineering and maintenance team within a regulated manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for coordinating contractor activities, managing permit‑to‑work processes, and ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements. Key Responsibilities Coordinate contractor inductions and site access. Assess risks and issue permits to work for contractor activities. Conduct permit inspections, audits, and compliance reporting. Maintain contractor records, training, and permitting documentation. Support maintenance activities, high‑risk work, and capital projects. Ensure compliance with New Zealand health and safety legislation and site procedures. About You Experience in contractor management, permitting, or industrial environments. Strong understanding of New Zealand Health & Safety requirements and permit‑to‑work systems. Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and contractor/compliance management systems. Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or other regulated environments is advantageous. Exposure to quality systems (GMP, GLP, ISO) and project coordination experience would be beneficial.
