Looking for meaningful part-time work that fits around school hours? Mindflight7 NZ delivers immersive VR learning experiences to schools across New Zealand. We're looking for two Business Development Specialists to help us reach more schools; and we've designed this role specifically for experienced professionals who want genuine flexibility. WHAT YOU'LL DO Research and identify target schools, then reach out via personalized cold emails and phone calls Build relationships with principals and lead teachers to secure VR incursion bookings Nurture leads through a 2–4 week decision cycle Track your pipeline and share insights with the team Work as part of a collaborative team sales model; no lone wolves WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT Remote first: most work is email and phone from home You manage your own schedule: we care about outcomes, not clock-watching We anticipate this will suit someone available ~3–4 days per week during term time You won't be on your own: this is one of two positions, within a supportive team WHAT YOU BRING Formal Qualification (any discipline) Customer-facing experience (sales, account management, client services — any sector) Strong written communication; you can write emails that get replies Self‑motivated and comfortable working independently Genuine interest in education Own Vehicle and a clean NZ Driver’s License Bonus Education sector experience, B2B sales, or EdTech background WHO THIS IS PERFECT FOR Parents returning to the workforce, career changers, semi-retired professionals, or anyone with strong communication skills who wants professional work that fits around life. No VR or tech experience needed — we'll train you on the product.
