Tapuhi Enrolled Nurse - Te Waipuna Health

Based in beautiful Whanganui, Te Oranganui is a kaupapa Māori organisation that offers a range of health and wellbeing services for whānau in the Whanganui region and surrounding districts. Te Waipuna Health is the General Practice arm with an enrolled population of 5,300 spread across two practices. As a low‑cost access health and wellbeing centre, we offer a newly refurbished practice in a supportive and flexible environment. About the role As the Enrolled Nurse, you will work alongside Registered Nurses, General Practitioners, and a multidisciplinary team to support the health and wellbeing of our clients and whānau. You will be part of a passionate team that provides holistic care, forming trusted long‑term relationships with patients and their whānau. You will demonstrate the ability to work autonomously in delivering evidence‑based clinical support, while working within a team setting of skilled nurses and GPs, Kaiāwhina, an experienced administration team, support from the Leadership Team and a dedicated Kaihautū (Service Manager). The successful candidate will ensure they meet the New Zealand Nursing Council competencies and uphold the tikanga and values of Te Oranganui Trust: Kotahitanga, Whanaungatanga, Tika and Pono.
