Job Overview Salt is hiring a Senior Contract Developer (C# .Net, ADO, SharePoint) to join a growing team in Auckland CBD. This role is part of a digital upgrade project across our core systems operating in 26 countries. Contract Details Contract role: 6 months initial term with high possibility of extension. Flexible & hybrid working – Tuesdays and Thursdays in office, 3 days per week mandatory at the Auckland CBD office. Immediate join preferred. Pay rate: $100 to $105 per hour (approx.). 37.5 hours per week for work-life balance. Responsibilities Work on a large programme of digital portal and core systems upgrade projects. Act as a senior level backend/full‑stack developer and contribute to the team’s technical discussions and solution design. Collaborate with team activities and add value to technical decisions. Qualifications Minimum 10 years of commercial development experience as a senior backend/full‑stack developer using C# .NET (non‑negotiable). Experience with Azure DevOps is preferred. Experience with SharePoint integration is a plus. Experience with Terraform is a plus. Seasoned contractors preferred; open to candidates looking to venture into contracting with ability to join within 2 weeks. Working Conditions Team is open, collaborative and well-knit.
