Location: Dunedin Start date: Immediate start Pay rate: $32-$38 per hour, depending on experience | Weekly pay About the Role As a Hydro Vac Driver, you'll be responsible for safely operating hydro excavation equipment and supporting a range of excavation and civil projects throughout the Dunedin region. This is a hands‑on role that combines driving, equipment operation, and working alongside experienced site teams. Key Responsibilities Operating a hydro excavation truck safely and efficiently Excavating around underground services and utilities Completing daily vehicle and equipment checks Working closely with site supervisors and crews Maintaining accurate job records and paperwork Following company policies, procedures, and site rules at all times Contributing to a safe and productive work environment What We're Looking For Full NZ Class 4 or Class 5 Licence WTR endorsements (advantageous where required) Previous hydro excavation or civil construction experience Strong commitment to health and safety Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test Good communication and teamwork skills Physically fit and capable of assisting with manual tasks when required Proven reliability and a strong work ethic What's in it for You?
