Burger King NZ is now 100% kiwi-owned and we'reall about growth and creating a great place to work. We are on the hunt for a couple of Shift Managers at our BK Restaurants in Canterbury Region. You must be able to work some night and weekend shifts! As a Shift Manager, you are responsible for: Thisis a hands-on position, you will also work to make and serve: big, bold,deliciousness (great burgers) to everyone. Supervisea small team of Fast Food workers (Cooks & Kitchen Hands) and support themto be successful by coaching, ensuring breaks are taken etc. Ensurethat all operational standards are met, including food safety, quality andcustomer measures. Problemsolve should issues arise and elevate to experts as required e.g. if kitchenmachinery require repairing. Ensure the Health & Safety of all employees. Assistswith Promoting Restaurant Profitability e.g. focus on costs and maximisingcustomer opportunities. What we offer you: Permanentemployment Salary: $59-62K gross per annum, depending on skills and experience. Guaranteedhours of 40 hours per week to be worked over any 5 days of the week, Monday toSunday. Hoursand days of work will depending on the rostered shifts you are assigned. Requirements: At least 1 years team management experience and overseeing the duties of Team Members in Fast Food or similar food, Hospitality or Retail environment.
