Key Responsibilities As Chef de Partie, you'll be a key part of our kitchen team, helping deliver a consistently high quality food product across our outlets. You'll: Ensure the hotel's kitchens produce a high quality food product at all times. Prepare sauces, soups and hot dishes for service and special functions. Demonstrate superior recipe knowledge for every item on the hotel's menus, ensuring standard recipes are followed in all outlets. Monitor food quality and quantity as it relates to portion control. Prepare and properly garnish all pantry items, including salads, sandwiches, desserts and specialty menu items. Monitor food storage facilities to maintain proper storage techniques and cleanliness standards. Requisition the appropriate amount of food product in line with hotel policies and procedures. Maintain a clean and safe working environment and follow all WH&S guidelines. What You'll Bring Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef ready to step up, ideally in a hotel or high-volume kitchen. Strong recipe knowledge and a genuine passion for quality food product and presentation. A solid understanding of portion control, waste control and food safety practices. The flexibility to work a variety of shifts across a 20–40 hour week, including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
