Dental Assistant - Auckland Regional Dental Service S3 Part-time position, 0.6 FTE (48 hours per fortnight) We are looking for a Dental Assistant to join our service in the South Team 3 which primarily covers the Papatoetoa, Flat Bush and Otara areas. About Us ARDS is the largest Community Oral Health Service, providing free dental care to children from birth through to year 8, in community clinics. Our service ranges across the wider Auckland region, with multiple dental clinics, including a mobile fleet. For us, care of the child is forefront and we are looking for flexible people who are passionate about children, and improving their oral health outcomes. We provide full training towards the role for the successful candidates. Abou the role All we ask is that you have a passion for: Working in health and working with children Making a difference in your community Working in a high functioning team with motivated individuals Learning new skills and challenging yourself The purpose of the Dental Assistant role is to: Mainly covering the reception Support and assist dental therapists to provide an efficient customer focused service to clients Provide administrative support as required About You You will need to have legal work entitlement (permanent) and a current full NZ driver's licence. There is an expectation that in this role you will drive a large van between sites. You will also need to be able to work during the school holiday periods.
