Cogswell Surveys Ltd Cogswell Surveys is a well-established Cambridge-based land development consultancy providing surveying, planning, and engineering services across the Waikato. With a strong pipeline of work, we’re looking for a Survey Technician, Junior–Intermediate Surveyor, or Graduate Surveyor to join our friendly and professional team. We’re open to candidates at all levels — from those just starting out through to experienced surveyors. For the right person, we’re flexible on both role scope and remuneration. This role offers a great mix of field and office work across a range of projects, including small infill developments, larger subdivisions, and rural work. About the role This is a hands‑on role with variety across fieldwork and office‑based support. Fieldwork includes Construction set‑out and as‑builts Topographical surveys Survey data processing and calculations Supporting accurate and timely project delivery Equipment management and maintenance You’ll work alongside an experienced team delivering practical, high‑quality outcomes. About you We’re ultimately looking for the right person — attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn are just as important as experience. Ideally, you will have Relevant NZ experience (preferred but not essential) A tertiary qualification or relevant industry experience Experience with 12d, 12d Synergy (or similar) Strong communication skills Familiarity with Topcon GNSS and Leica robotic total stations NZ residency or a valid work visa is required.
