Overview Role will be based within our Care & Protection team at our Ōtāhuhu Site. Competitive salary ranging from $57,096 to $62,773, depending on experience. Responsibilities Be responsible for the administration needs of Social Work kaimahi including but not limited to the following: Assistance with financial plans, data collection and scheduling Liaising with vendors, casual staff, and other stakeholders Working with various cultural groups and people from different backgrounds Booking rooms, answering phones, and assisting on the reception desk Organising welcomes/whakatau for newcomers and whānau as and when required Dealing with critical scenarios in a calm, professional manner Key Requirements Full clean New Zealand driver's licence is required Supporting the team with all aspects of Health and Safety Possession of a strong computer and IT knowledge Administration skills such as typing, reporting and responding to Site needs Cultural awareness and an understanding of Tikanga Māori principles A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi Strong time management Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt to your audience Understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural practices in particular; knowledge of tikanga Māori, and Pacific peoples' culture What's in it for you Oranga Tamariki offers a step based remuneration package, that offers progression annually for experience through tenure.
