Electrical Reliability Technician

Electrical Reliability Technician The role provides direction on electrical plant reliability, sits at the intersection of technical expertise, planned maintenance, and continuous improvement, with responsibility spanning fault identification to project delivery. Responsibilities Lead root‑cause analysis and implement reliability improvements to reduce equipment failures and production losses. Develop and optimise maintenance strategies, tactics, and asset management plans. Monitor SAP work orders and performance data to identify trends and drive improvements. Manage and deliver electrical upgrade and improvement projects, including contractor oversight. Coach, mentor, and support electricians to build team capability. Provide hands‑on technical support and collaborate closely with reliability and maintenance teams. Qualifications An electrical trade or tertiary qualification. EWRB registration. Experience with electrical maintenance and reliability, preferably within heavy industry. Demonstrated use of PLC, VSD, and SCADA communication devices. Comfortable working with SAP, able to interrogate work order history to identify trends. You will be a self‑starter driven by a passion for improvement, an analytical problem solver with attention to detail, and have a proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
