Mechanical Design Coordinator

The Role Our client, a well‑established leader in design, in‑house build, and export of specialist and complex heavy machinery, is hiring a Mechanical Design Coordinator based in the Bay of Plenty. Responsibilities Generate drawing packs and design documentation Create new parts and BOMs Be responsible for Engineering Change Orders and ERP system management Develop SOPs and manufacturing drawings Analyse processes and recommend improvements Qualifications Tertiary qualified Mechanical or Mechatronics engineer (preferred) Previous design experience with heavy machinery plant working with BOMs, ECOs and ERP systems Proven experience with manufacturing fabrication processes Proficient communication skills, self‑starter, diligent, natural problem solver, comfortable working in a team or autonomously Location Bay of Plenty, New Zealand.
