As a Food & Beverage attendant, you will have the perfect opportunity to touch the hearts of our guests by making their dining occasions truly unforgettable. With a combination of breakfast, lunch and dinner service, this role has plenty of variety. You’ll work alongside the Food and Beverage Team to ensure seamless guest experiences. Your role includes the following tasks: Greeting guests warmly and professionally as they arrive Taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently Delivering food and drinks to tables in a timely manner Clearing tables, resetting and maintaining a clean dining area Handling guest queries, requests, and complaints with care Processing payments using POS systems and handling cash/card transactions Restocking supplies and ensuring stations are stocked and tidy Following hygiene, safety, and food handling procedures at all times Supporting colleagues and working collaboratively as part of a team Setting up and packing down service areas as required Communicating any dietary needs or guest concerns to kitchen team Completing daily cleaning and closing checklists Flexibility is crucial for this role, as you will be rostered across a 7‑day rotating schedule, with shifts starting as early as 6:00 am and finishing late at night. This is a part‑time position, paid at $25.42 per hour. Qualifications Previous experience in food and beverage, bar, barista or hotel service roles is preferred but not essential. A friendly and professional attitude with a passion for hospitality and delivering great guest experiences. Comfortable operating coffee machines or working behind a bar (training can be provided). A team player who can adapt to a fast‑paced and dynamic environment. Strong communication and time management skills. Physically able to be on your feet for extended periods and lift/carry light trays or equipment. Flexibility to work a rotating 7‑day roster with shifts that may start as early as 6 am or finish late at night. Understanding of basic food safety and hygiene practices. NZ citizenship, permanent residency or a current and valid work visa/permit (immigration visa support or sponsorship is not available with this role).
