Electrician

The Role Reporting to the Senior Electrical Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the ongoing maintenance of electrical equipment, control systems and instrumentation to enable the efficient running of all plant equipment. You will be involved in and organise, as required, minor new electrical and automation project installation and commissioning works. Additionally, you will: Ensure all work is completed to the Company’s quality standards Participate and support the identification and management of all health & safety hazards Oversee contractors and manage pre‑planned and periodic schedules Fault‑find and implement solutions Undertake training as required for on‑going development About You To be successful in this role you will be a team player with a passion for learning and development. You will build trusted relationships and support colleagues and business initiatives. You will hold a tertiary or trade qualification and current Electrical Registration. In addition to this, you will have: 5+ years’ experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment Knowledge of CMMS systems (MEX would be advantageous) Hazardous installation and risk unit standard, preferred Experience in electronic control systems Instrumentation knowledge would be advantageous Excellent planning and self‑organisation skills Good written and verbal communication skills Strong computer skills and knowledge of Electrical drawings Able to work 7am–4pm, with a 1 week in 4 call‑out roster (overtime and call‑out rates provided) The Opportunity This is a career opportunity that offers challenge, variety and scope.
