About the Role Hauraki MHAS is looking for a Clinical Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team based in Thames, providing outreach services throughout the Coromandel Peninsula. The role involves delivering specialist adult mental health services (18‑65 years) at our Manaaki Centre and conducting clinic days in the Whitianga community. Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive psychological assessment and treatment for adults with serious mental health challenges. Provide individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, and evidence‑based interventions. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining a degree of clinical independence. Conduct clinic days in Whitianga community and provide outreach services as required. Participate in service quality improvement, training supervision and professional development activities. Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with health system policies. Qualifications Registered clinical psychologist with the New Zealand Psychology Board. Current practising certificate and full New Zealand driver’s licence. Knowledge and understanding of TeTiritioWaitangi. Excellent communication, organisational and collaborative skills. Ability to work independently and within a dynamic multidisciplinary team.
