We are looking for Diagnostic Radiologists who are passionate about delivering quality care to our patients. Diagnostic Radiologists provide consultative support to ensure appropriate imaging is selected, participate in clinical meetings and case reviews, and contribute to quality improvement, audit and peer review activities that strengthen patient outcomes and service performance. Subspecialty practice opportunities include the following: Abdominal/Body Breast Cardiac Chest/Thoracic Emergency Ear, Nose and Throat Musculoskeletal Nuclear Medicine/Molecular Imaging and Therapy Neuroradiology Oncology Paediatrics Obstetrics and Gynaecology Positions are available across New Zealand with immediate start dates, or you can speak with our recruitment team about your plans to move to New Zealand. About you To work as a Radiologist (Senior Medical Officer) in New Zealand, you must become registered to practice with the Medical Council of New Zealand. Practitioners must meet competency standards and hold Annual Practising Certificates (APCs) to work safely and effectively. Senior Medical Officers are on the New Zealand immigration Green List, so you have the opportunity for permanent residency in New Zealand. Salary The average salary package for Radiologists in New Zealand is USD ~$193,814 (NZD $343,500) Packages are comprised of a base salary based on experience, plus allowances, and superannuation per the ASMS collective agreement Benefit You'll receive: an annual continuing medical education (CME) allowance of USD ~$9,027 (NZD $16,000) paid 3-month sabbaticals every 6 years your indemnity insurance covered by Health New Zealand your professional fees and subscriptions fully reimburse complimentary visa and immigration support a tailored relocation package to make your move, if eligible.
