Responsibilities Operate vehicles and equipment in accordance with training, instructions or operating procedures and company regulations. Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on vehicle and/or equipment as and when required. Operate computerized systems and other work‑related systems. Perform loading and unloading duties and transport and disposal of varying waste materials, in accordance with company and client requirements. Undertake servicing, delivery and processing of waste as required. Qualifications Valid New Zealand Class 2 or 4 driver licence (mandatory). Proven experience operating front‑end loaders and heavy equipment in commercial or construction environments. Demonstrated knowledge of load management, securing techniques, and weight distribution. Strong understanding of occupational health and safety regulations and site safety protocols. Excellent spatial awareness and ability to operate equipment in confined or complex environments. Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform routine equipment maintenance and inspections. Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively. Attention to detail and organisational skills to maintain accurate records and reports. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in dynamic job site environments. Required: Must be in New Zealand and hold a current work visa/residency or NZ citizenship. Preferred: Heavy equipment operation certifications or additional machinery qualifications.
