As an independent Crown entity, our role is critical to ensuring markets deliver for New Zealanders.**Mō te tūranga | About the role**In this key leadership role, you'll work with the Chief Information Officer to shape and lead how technology demand is prioritised, designed, developed and delivered across the Commission. You'll bring together business partnering, product management, solution design and delivery capability to ensure our technology work is aligned to strategy, architecture and business priorities.You'll lead the delivery lifecycle from intake and planning through to implementation and value realisation, while supporting multi-year planning, product roadmaps and investment choices. You'll develop and lead a capable, multidisciplinary team focused on delivering practical, sustainable technology outcomes.This role is based in our Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington) office.You'll be involved in:* Leading business partnering, product management, portfolio management, solution design and delivery capability across Information Services.* Driving a DevOps-based application development team that works closely with product management to turn business needs into practical, well-prioritised application solutions.* Shaping and prioritising and maintaining IS demand through a clear intake and planning process and portfolio management, aligned to strategy, architecture, capacity and investment priorities.* Overseeing delivery from discovery and design through to development, release, operational support and ongoing value realisation.* Developing product roadmaps, delivery plans and multi-year work programmes that support the Commission's goals and strengthen how we deliver digital services.The salary band for this role is $164,024 to $192,969 plus 3.5% KiwiSaver employer contribution.
