Job Overview Calling All Food and Beverage Supervisors! The New Zealand Venue Co. family are looking for talented and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisors to join our Auckland venue team. Our company’s rapid growth will provide you with multiple avenues to develop your career to its full potential! The successful candidates will possess a friendly personality, good communication skills, ability to thrive under pressure and strong multi‑tasking skills. This role will entail assisting in the day‑to‑day operations of the venue, working collaboratively and providing support to the staff and management team. Responsibilities Effective day‑to‑day communication with a multi‑skilled team Prepare and serve alcoholic and non‑alcoholic drinks at a high quality standard Support staff in delivering an outstanding customer experience Participate in and maintain knowledge of venue events and promotions Maintain a clean and orderly environment as per the venue’s standards Troubleshooting and problem‑solving, including customer complaint resolution Qualifications & Requirements Passionate commitment to a successful career in the hospitality industry Projects a friendly, enthusiastic and positive attitude at all times Possesses superb presentation and customer service skills A passion for the hospitality industry A friendly, enthusiastic, can‑do attitude Capacity to work in a team environment while leading from the front Exceptional customer service and presentation skills At least 12 months of restaurant and hospitality service experience Flexible availability to work rostered shifts as our venues operate Monday to Sunday Benefits Security of a full‑time, permanent position (minimum 30 hours per week) A competitive wage and rewards for hard work and success Remuneration at a rate of between $25 and $32 per hour Opportunities for internal career advancement and training Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Australian Venue Co. promotes a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion through programs like AVC Pride for LGBTQIA+ support, Her Hospo for empowering women, and a First Nations Committee for reconciliation.
