Maintenance Fitter

Complete Reinforcing, part of the NZ owned Euro Corporation Group, is involved in some of New Zealand's biggest infrastructure projects and is a market leader in the manufacturing, supply, fabrication, and installation of structural steel reinforcing. We are currently hiring a Maintenance Fitter for our Christchurch Factory. Your job will be to plan, organize and perform repair and maintenance tasks for our plant and equipment to a safe and efficient standard, including breakdowns, preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance. Job: Permanent Full Time Location: Christchurch Working Hours: Monday to Friday / 6am to 5pm Hours: 40 Hours Weekly Why Join Us Great company culture and friendly teams across all our business divisions We are proud of our achievements and standards of professionalism Professional career development, training opportunities and support Well-established company with 340+ employees nationally PPE Gear to get you started About the Role Repair and servicing of plant and equipment Implement and manage accurate service schedules/logs for plant and equipment Initiate and undertake a preventative maintenance and servicing program Manage service and preventative maintenance programs Undertake pre-planned maintenance shutdowns Assist in conjunction with procurement team with ordering of parts for machinery Organize the manufacture of parts by local service providers as required Procurement responsibilities Manage workshop inventory of stock and consumables Health and Safety responsibilities, working closely with other business divisions About You 5 years’ relevant industry experience preferred Mechanical Trade Certificate & NZS 4711 Welding certificate preferred Effective communicator and true problem solver with great negotiation skills Take accountability and ownership of the role Good understanding of Health and Safety work practices and regulations Good decision maker, agile and professionally competent Customer focus with an eye for continuous improvement Only applicants with the legal right to work in NZ will be considered. #J-18808-Ljbffr
