Protecting the health of our water. We believe that’s worth caring about. About the job We’re looking for an experienced Team Leader to join our Drainlaying team in Masterton. Responsibilities Leading, supervising and mentoring crews to deliver work across the three-water network, fostering a culture of safety, professionalism and continuous improvement. Planning and scheduling drainage projects, allocating resources effectively and ensuring timely project completion. Monitoring team performance, providing constructive feedback and conducting training where necessary. Maintaining accurate documentation including timesheets, work reports and project records. Qualifications New Zealand Certificate in Infrastructure Works (Level 3). Experience leading or supervising small teams. Knowledge of the three-waters network or construction environment. Confidence using digital tools and business systems. Participation in on-call and standby roster. Full class 1 & 2 licence with Roller, Tracks & Wheels Endorsements. All preferred candidates will be required to complete preemployment checks to the employer’s satisfaction. These checks include but are not limited to, Ministry of Justice criminal conviction report, medical assessment, and drug and alcohol testing.
