Be responsible for administration needs of Social Work kaimahi including but not limited to the following. Assistance with financial plans, data collection and scheduling Liaise with vendors, casual staff, and other stakeholders Work with various cultural groups and people from different backgrounds Booking rooms, answering phones, and assisting on the reception desk Organising welcomes/whakatau for newcomers and whānau as and when required Deal with critical scenarios in a calm, professional manner Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu | What you will bring Full clean New Zealand driver’s licence is required (historic convictions may be considered on a case‑by‑case basis) Support the team with all aspects of Health and Safety Have a strong computer and IT knowledgeAdmin skills such as typing, reporting, responding to Site needs Cultural awareness and an understanding of Tikanga Māori principles A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi Strong time management Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt to your audience Understanding and appreciation of cross‑cultural practices in particular; knowledge of tikanga Māori, and Pacific peoples' culture Nōu te rourou | What's in it for you Oranga Tamariki offer a step based remuneration package, that offers progression annually for experience through tenure.
