Island Kiosk Volunteer: Seasonal Sales & Service Accom

Running a kiosk on a Hauraki Gulf Island We would like a volunteer to help run our kiosk during the summer period (October - March). Preferably someone that can commit to several days at a time. Accommodation will be available. Duties also include assistance with the cleaning and monitoring of the visitor service facilities. Responsibilities Run the kiosk shop, selling products and managing sales. Assist with cleaning and monitoring visitor service facilities. Requirements Enjoy interacting with the public and pay attention to detail to ensure sales are correctly entered. Be trustworthy, as you will manage cash and card‑based sales and need to cash up accurately at the end of each day. Police background check is required. Will be trained by the Rotoroa Island Trust and expected to work independently with no supervision. Time Commitment Minimum of 3 days in a row. Hours will vary depending on visitor activity.
