About the Role Programme Architect – Full time, fixed term through to June 2027. Location: Wellington City. Salary band & range: GSRB$141,717 to $182,567 depending on skills and experience. As Programme Architect, you will lead the architectural direction for two major programmes: the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) transformation and the Exit Marshall Smart lane (EMS) programme, a cutting‑edge initiative to provide a digital, zero‑touch Biosecurity screening experience for inbound international travellers. You will work with programme and project managers to plan efficient delivery, ensuring architectural integrity across initiatives and delivering strategic outcomes. The role requires exceptional relationship management, negotiation and influencing skills. About You We are looking for a candidate with: Significant experience providing architectural leadership for large‑scale initiatives. A proven track record of guiding complex programmes and influencing outcomes. Strong verbal, written and presentation skills to influence stakeholders. Ability to tailor communication for non‑technical stakeholders. Extensive architecture experience across a breadth of technology domains. Confidence in communicating with diverse audiences and translating complex ideas into actionable insights. You do not need to meet all of the role requirements to apply.
