Machine Operator (Tuffter Operator)

What’s on offer: $25.52 per hour + 8% holiday pay Afternoon shift: 3:30pm – 12:00am Monday to Friday – no weekend work Temp to perm opportunity Consistent, ongoing work Supportive team environment with training provided On-site parking available Well-maintained machinery and clean work environment What you'll be doing: Operating machinery safely and efficiently Monitoring machine performance and troubleshooting basic issues Ensuring production targets and quality standards are met Performing basic machine checks and maintenance support Maintaining a clean and safe work environment Assisting with general production duties as required What You’ll Bring: Full NZ Class 1 Driver Licence (essential) Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience (preferred) Sewing or textile experience will be taken into consideration Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Strong awareness of health and safety practices Nice to have: Experience in textile, carpet, or similar manufacturing environments Mechanical aptitude or experience with machinery About the Company: Our client is a well-established manufacturing business known for quality products and a strong team culture.
